 What is an Annie Oakley? 

What’s an Annie Oakley? A free ticket. Free tickets often had holes punched in them so they would not be mistaken for paid tickets. The hole was a reminder of Wild West show star Annie Oakley and her ability to shoot a hole in a playing card.
